This quote, from the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities, includes adults with disabilities in the United States over the age of 18 (2019).

When I was about a year and a half old, I received my first wheelchair. This day became the equivalent of me taking my first steps. These “steps” would lead me to meet so many people and participate in activities that I wouldn’t have open to me if I hadn’t been born with Spina Bifida.
Some opportunities were purely for fun, others were for learning and others were for teaching. Thinking back on all these opportunities influenced my decision to create this blog. I’ll be sharing advice based off situations I’ve encountered when I was little until now, recommendations on a variety of products that Ive loved, along with my thoughts on media and current events related to disabilities.
